Well woke up this morning to head to work and my zune was frozen on the logo screen. Seeing how that is odd I checked some of the gadget websites and low and behold every zune 30 on the face of the earth took its own life and bricked itself today...for what reason...who knows! I mean come one, seriously was going to bring that along tonight and hook it up for the new years eve party but that is not going to happen now that I have a 250.00 brick in my hand. Its sad but many of the boards out there are saying microsoft is saying oh well and there is nothing they can or will do. Mine has been out of warrenty for about a year now and when I called in they wanted a credit card and 50.00 to just talk to me about the problem. I flat out sad that I had bought this did the updates that you support and now I have a brick in my hand that will not do anything because of your crappy product.

The agent on the line asked if I was willing to pay the 50.00 to anwser my question and then asked if not that I go ahead and submit my information online and attempt to get it sent to repair...even though its 130.00 to send in to have it repaired.....

ok here it is microsoft...Everyone has put up with you shitty software, horrible issues with the 360 and now you want money again from me to say that you are working on it and have a nice day thanks for buying a piece of shit!

Fallout 3 Is Awesome!

Is it me or did the media pass over the death of George Carlin on Monday. I was reading some articles on-line talking about he would be preceeded in death by his stand up. Then reading further I found he had passed away on the 24th. Well I guess if you are not as dumb as Britney Spears or a junkie like Lindsey Lohan you can't get as much press.

I have to say, I LOOOOOOOVE the Venture Brothers.... Not only does it make me laugh but the plot is great, hopefully others agree!

Well things are hectic as usual around here, for those who do not know me and leslie moved into a house in springfield together... yes we both wanted this to happen and no she is not pregs. Anyway got promoted at work which is a major pay raise, but on the flip side once training is over I am stuck on a 3-12a shift in a small building in rochester. Oh well pays good, get to watch tv or be on the internet all nite, and company vehicle. On the flipside I really miss the good ol days of hanging with Gobi and Aimee and Steve and Greg, as well as everyone else. I kind feel like I have not done anyone justice on this end, every time someone seemed to be in town I was down south or vice versa, man I am a horrible person.

Comcast bought Insight....What does this mean for you?

I really have no idea yet. It will happen at the end of the Fiscal Year, so who will be effected?

Things have been going great. I can't be in love with Leslie more than I already am, she makes me laugh and smile and we generally have a great time together. She has been the only girlfriend who understands what I am and what I like to do and has yet to try and change any of it. I am really happy that I found my needle in the haystack.

Work on the other hand is ok..... by ok I mean if you like being bent over with out lube then its going great. I applied for an IST (Internet Service Tech) job and interviewed will. I found out today that I was passed over for someone who has been with the company longer but knows 90% less than I do which really puts me in a tight spot. I opened my mouth while they were telling me I got passed over and was basically told that I was doing and learning too much too fast and I need to slow down cause I am making people who have been doing a job title higher than mine feel like idiots. So do I continue doing what I am doing for the Customers sake, or play dumb and let people go out and screw up stuff even more than it already is. Kinda a tough choice, so I guess dumb it is.

Other than that working on the rx-7 project. Mike and I got in the motor mounts and heads for the engine and as soon as the cold weather breaks we are going to start stripping the car down a little more and get the engine put together and dyno'd.

Well I miss hanging out with some of the old crew and maybe one day things will work out between everyone.

On a side note it was great talking to you the other nite Gobi and hopefully me and Leslie can make it up and see you guys in Chicago.

BTW have I said how much better Hero's has gotten. I really think they are going to go the approach of LOST with each episode and Focus more on one person instead of going back and forth all the time, I was really at the point I wanted to just stop watching it, but they have transitioned nicely and hopefully all the episodes will fit on my Zune so in a couple of weeks I have something to watch in the middle of the nite if I get called out.

Thats it on this end!

Well another year over....I have survived Tornado's, Ice Storms, Deer, and various other things. Met the woman of my life Leslie and finally found a part of my job I love. All in all this year has been difficult and good all at the same time. I have lost friends I once had, but have gained many whom I adore. Friends have moved on to better things and others have stuck to the same old stuff. All in all its been a great year!

Thanks to everyone who has been part of it, and hopefully it will continue on the same path if not better for 2007.

Gobi, Steve, Greg, Rocky and various others Sorry I missed the New Years party this year hopefully I will be going Monday through Friday in a few months and can make it up and hang out for a while, its been god awful rough down here with work and not being able to see Leslie every waking hour of the day.

Short and sweet........

1. If you call my phone leave a voice mail thats what it is fucking for not to just see a number and wonder who it was or what you wanted. As for blocked calls its not funny anymore Jackasses and I know who is doing it so quit it.

2. If you have issues with your CABLE I am not your personal cable man, that is my day job, I have life out sie of that personally have have never asked anyone to go above and over what their job asks them to do....this includes but is not limited to:

1 a. Phone calls at all hours of the nite to ask me questions about how this or that works

1 b. Asking me to stop by after work or my days off to fix your problem. Put a work order in thats what I get paid for just like everyone else its my job on the clock not off

1 c. Asking me to pick up the work at your house/apartment from another tech. Not only does this cause me to run way behind the day with my other jobs but then other people end up doing less work and get to go screw off while I have to double or triple up on work orders to complete them to just make sure I can come to your house.

1 d. Threats to cancel your service if I do not fix it. The phone number for the office is 217-788-5656 this is a 24 hour a day 365 day a year phone number my cell phone is not, people get paid to setup an order or fix your problem over the phone and if they can't then it comes to the techs so deal with it.
